the mountain goats/khaki king - thank you mario but our princess is in another castlesaturday morning i woke up super early and went home and packed. then drove to hoboken, and took the path to manhatten. then after a bunch of confusing subway lines i met colleen in china town. it was raining a lot the whole way up and we were in traffic and our bus only stopped once (and it was at a burger king) and i was car sick the entire time, but it only took 4 hours to get there. then christina came and met us at the bus depot and we took the train line back to her dorm. boston trains are weeeeeeeeird. they're clean, and have layers, and you can walk over the tracks in the subway stations, and they go outside, and you

have to stop at traffic lights with them. anyway, we went to her dorm, i got changed and we went back to cambridge. we got pizza then met a bunch of people in this weird sports bar thing. i left and met ryan in the club. very small club, reminded me of hamilton street. it was right next door to the middle east. met erica there too. colleen joined me shortly after. erica was kicked out, very sad, and she gave us her camera to take picture of matt playing piano, we took this. first bands sucked. hung out on the street mostly. a lot of fucking people came up for this show. really weird, but really fucking awesome. don't know when they went on, but man it was a fun fucking show.

second song steve pid climbed to the top of the speakers gave everyone the finger and did a flip off of it.

after that it took five bouncers several songs to kick steve out. lots of us were thrown out. pretty okay set, enjoyed fucking up the kickline during anarchists with ryan. enjoyed pissing people off in general. really enjoyed being called a "little asshole" by amanda palmer. the set list was (something like, sorta out of order a bit). definitely happy they played monkettes and younger man.

after the show it took everyone awhile to say there goodbye, figure out where they were sleeping that night or where/what they were going to do. me and colleen just wanted to sleep, since we had been traveling all day. christina got us a ride to her dorm and we went to sleep. she came back shortly after. slept in late sunday.
sunday morning christina gave me and colleen

guest passes to her cafeteria (ranked one of the best college cafeterias in the country! and god did it deliver). ryan called and said he had no one to drive back with so me and colleen came with him. he picked us up and off we went. man boston roads are hard to navigate. but once we were out of the city it was smooth traveling for the most part. hit a little traffic. took us a long time to get home. his gps took us through manhattan for some reason, wtf. and thankfully my car was still in hoboken, i was really nervous it was going to be towed. drove colleen to borders to meet matt and then i went home, changed and showered and went to pams house. slept there that night.
