the max levine ensemble - divorce court

friday i woke up at six am and took my car to volkswagon for a servicing. wanted to get there early so it wouldn't take all day long. started reading animal farm, really good. after my car was done, i went home and packed a bag, showered and got changed, then cashed my pay check and met ryan in philly. then we picked up chris (alas babylon) (expect lots of board names in this post) in center city and went on down to washington d.c. it wasn't a bad trip at all. really quick and really easy. got there earlier then expected. got dinner at this little vegan cafe in the lobby of the black cat. then went to 7-11 for drinks, then put our stuff in the car and went to the black cat. ran into tom (fuckedreality) outside and hung out with him until they let us in. once inside we saw danO, kriss (scratchmarks), patrick (gunsontheroof), sam (supportlocalska), dan (newbeat), uh.. (mad monkettes), lindsey (lindsey), kriss's gf (vendettaaloutte), uh....(mimehatter), dave (9mm), dave (bakunim), and a ton more people. it was a really great show. on the way down we were texting dave (spoonboy) requests cause his band, the max levine ensemble was opening and that was half the reason we decided to come down for the show. it was such a great fucking show. tmle were so dead on, the crowd was really great for them too. they closed with 'divorce court' and it was epic. patrick was kicked out during that song, but got back in. the club was really strict with stagediving and crowdsurfing, but we knew inferno was closing with 'all the world in a stage(dive)' so we just planned to go all out during that song. did walls of death during 'only anarchists' and waltzed to almost nothing but 'velocity of love', and circle pits to 'ricks'. during 'rats' kriss's girlfriend went up and as the bouncers went after her we all went after the bouncers. during stagedive so much was going on, almost everyone was kicked out, and when same was being pulled down dave grabbed the bouncer (who was choking sam) and punched in five times in the face. it was a pretty amazing show. after it we found ourselves at ryans car just talking about how amazing it was. then we called dave (spoonboy) and he came to the car and sang divorce court to us as we banged on ryans dashboard. seriously, dave is the nicest guy ever.

after that we all went to a diner in virgina somewhere. not a great diner, and sort of expessinve but had a lot of fun. then we all sort of caravaned to patricks really nice house and we had a really big party. but at this point it was about 4 am, and i had been awake for about 22 hours and had to go to bed. so i took the bed ryan called and just passed out. then woke up an hour later to everyone giggling and trying to move me. then i groaned and they all ran away.

saturday morning me and ryan woke up to mimehatter asking us if we had a car and if we could drive him to a metro terminal. we then woke up same telling him he was "late", "his dad was here" and "his dad knew he smoked weed for the first time". then chris couldn't get up to pay ryan cause of morning wood. we took mimehatter to the metro then me and ryan got breakfast at a super marker. virgina is a weird place. people can't drive and a plain bagel is called a new yorker bagel. it took me adn ryan awhile to get home but we surely did. then i got to my car and came back to jersey. went straight to pams house. hung out with her there for awhile. we went to my house, got a bunch of stuff, then decided we wanted to go to applebees but wanted to wait until 10 so went to borders to burn time. then went to applebees, ate dinner and went back to her house and went to bed.
