on our travels we found the WWE (world wrestling entertainment) headquarters, we ran into the Gaslight Anthem in a pit stop in Rhode Island, and a lot of the same looking mcdonald's/mobil gas station pit stops. we made really good time going up there.

we left Providence and made it from there to Boston in about an hours time. we got a little lost in the south end of the city, but got to the center in a few minutes after some overly nice Boston chap's gave us a lot of directions with a lot of accent. the entire time we were driving through boston all i could think about was dropkick murphys and the Departed.
we parked the car in a garage, knowing that when we took it out it would be a fortune, but whatever. we met up with Mark and it was so great to see him again. we went to his appt, dropped off bags and went and got some delicious vegan thai food and walked around and saw the river and newburry st and the pru from the outside. the next morning i had a rude awakening

and then mark went to class and me and dale ventured out into the city. first we went to the pru, and immediately we felt out of place. it was just an upscale mall and we are not upscale at all. we then went back out into the cold and walked up and down newburry street. the best part of newburry street was hands down newburry comics. i bought a lot of stuff i do not need there. after mark got back from class we went grocery shopping with him. then mark made us a delicious stir fry, even though dale bailed on us for his friend ellen. dale didn't come home that night so me and mark just chilled and watched tv and talked about shit. the next morning mark was at class again and dale calls me at about 11 am needing to get into the appt, so down i walked 4 flights of stairs to let him in, back up 4 flights and he tells me we have to leave today instead of Saturday like we originally planned. so i packed up and we walked to the car. the parking garage was 60 dollars, goddamn. then we hit the road. it took us a lot longer to get home. we sat in traffic for nearly three hours between Queens and somewhere near Elizabeth NJ, then we made a wrong turn and ended up by sLayerville. we switched drivers and i slept the rest of the way.
we picked up jenni on the way back to town. dale dropped us at my house, i got changed, and surprise surprise, we went to bucks and met up with lindsay mollie corey bruce and marcos there. then we went to mollies and watched Jesus Camp. it was pretty good, pretty crazy actually, i would suggest it. i knew nothing about evangelical christians, and now i'm sort of scared about it all. cayce showed up half way through and afterwards i drove her home. since then i talked with my mom for a little bit. i'm glad things are getting better between us.
hopefully tomorrow i'll get to see a lot more of my friends.
